Join us in Shanghai as we explore the role of today's Next Generation Leaders and how they have the collective responsibility now more than ever to be the Driver for Sustainability.

Next generation members from FBN Germany, FBN Austria and FBN Netherlands (FBNed) are cordially invited for a special cross border next generation event “Sustainable Entrepreneurship” to be held at the premises of one of the Dutch members: Burgers’ Zoo in Arnhem, close to the German border.

(Future) owners and family business leaders face interesting challenges. Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility have become hypes. Scarce resources, new technologies and the search for more efficient product chains create problems as well as huge opportunities for the next generation to engage in new entrepreneurial endeavours. Many long time family businesses adopted ways to deal with the hypes and problems, but often without expressing it. Others deliberately look for ways to innovate and reinvent their business activities. As one successor in the logistics industry points out his challenge: “My father still worries about fuel prices. But I struggle with the question how to remain successful if there is no fuel anymore in 20 years time”.
